Pets respond best to non vocal sounds, especially when these are repetitive and distinctive - one of the reasons why clicker training has been so successful.

Unlike conventional clicker training, which uses a single click to indicate a positive action, Stopet uses a unique high speed click action to indicate a negative or undesirable action.

When activated by rolling the wheel between thumb and forefinger, repeated high pitched clicks are emitted which your pet will respond to. Once you have his attention, a voice command can be given followed by praise or a reward when successful. Because click speed can be regulated by the user, the Stopet can be adapted to many different pet temperaments.

The Stopet has been developed and fine tuned to get results quickly. During its development, success rates in excess of 60% have been achieved within 24 hours of first use.

To gain maximum effectiveness, we have found that it is best to operate the Stopet out of view, especially during the early stages. Your pet will not know where the noise has come from, and his attention will be caught so that you can give a command. It is also best to spin the wheel quickly on first use as this will usually have maximum effect.

Stopet has been used to stop:
Barking; Food Stealing; Aggression towards guests in the home; Jumping on furniture; Running away and ignoring commands; Aggression towards other animals. Obviously not every pet will respond favourably to the Stopet, but as with most training, perseverance usually succeeds.

Example of use:

Barking at visitors entering your home:
Step 1: Stand between your dog and the front door whilst facing into the room.
Step 2: Activate Stopet out of view with a rapid spin of the wheel until you have his attention.
Step 3: Praise and/or reward.
Step 4: Ask your guest to come in and repeat Step 2 &3 if necessary.
